David DeCarlo - The Officiant

David, married to Meredith and father to Eleanor and Katie (the amazing flower girls), has always been a steady, thoughtful presence in the family. As a father, husband, and brother, he leads with quiet strength, and his deep sense of commitment to those he loves is something we admire greatly. Stephen and Kelcie chose David as their officiant because of his genuine character, his ability to connect with others, and the warmth he brings to every occasion. As part of the family, David has a unique perspective and can offer a personal touch to this special day that no one else could. Having gone through the journey of marriage himself, David’s calm demeanor and sincere presence will make the ceremony meaningful and heartfelt. We’re honored to have David officiate, as he’s not only a key part of our lives but also the perfect person to help tell our story with love and authenticity.

Thomas White
Thomas White - Best Man
Tom and I have been close since college, when I rushed him into our fraternity - a decision that kicked off a lifelong friendship. I had the honor of being his best man, and now he’s returning the favor. I’ve also gained a great friend in his wife, Stephanie, who’s been part of so many of our favorite memories. We’ve argued endlessly about Star Wars, spent far too many nights battling in board games (which, for the record, I usually win), and made big plans for the future over a couple of Labatt Blues. Tom’s the kind of friend who always shows up and keeps the mood light, and I’m honored to have him by my side for this special day.
Natalie Dolan
Natalie Dolan - Maid of Honor
I’ve known Natalie my entire life, and having her stand by my side as my Maid of Honor marks our biggest sister milestone yet. Over the years, Natalie has watched me grow and evolve through many versions of myself, but one thing that has always remained constant is how she shows up in my life. We’ve built memories that are uniquely ours, quoting SpongeBob and Space Jam and her bamboozling me into watching the wildest movies just to see my reaction. We’ve shared countless cat chats, family vacations, and plenty of moments that could only happen between sisters. Thank you for being here with me at the start of this next chapter... now, Take it away, Penny!
Anthony Sabatino
Anthony Sabatino - Groomsman
Our friendship took root when Anthony and I served together as fraternity execs, and it’s only grown since. We’ve logged countless hours eating fish and chips, making questionable choices, and dominating (or failing at) Call of Duty. He’s been there for the major milestones, including his own wedding, where I got to be Usher #1. It’s been amazing to watch his life with Marissa and the kids grow, and I’m honored to be “Uncle Steve” in their world. Anthony brings energy, loyalty, and great stories and I’m thrilled he’s with me today.
Caroline DeCarlo
Caroline DeCarlo - Bridesmaid
Caroline is the kind of person who says “yes” to the simplest moments and somehow turns them into unforgettable stories. Like the time we jinxed the weather by insisting it wouldn’t snow that much, then found ourselves trekking through a full-on blizzard just to get a glass of wine. Or when we did down dog with actual puppies. Or filled an entire pool with floaties...because, duh. I’m not just gaining a sister-in-law, I’m gaining a true friend. You bring laughter and light wherever you go, and I’m so happy to have you by my side as we officially become family.
Matt Yancey
Matt Yancey - Groomsman
I knew Matt wasn’t just a friend, but someone who’d be in my life forever when I drove to Wisconsin and he served me ham sandwiches for an entire weekend. Mikayla, his wife, was horrified, rightfully asking, “How could you serve him that?” But honestly, that might’ve been the test, and somehow I passed. Matt and I are fraternity brothers, and through everything from ATV adventures to somehow surviving Oktoberfest in Wisconsin, he’s always been game for whatever comes next. He brings humor, spontaneity, and a one-of-a-kind energy that makes every moment better. Having him stand with me feels like the perfect full-circle moment, not just a groomsman, but a brother I chose along the way.
Wendy Amanishourbariki
Wendy Amanishourbariki - Bridesmaid
Wendy was destined to be my best friend the moment we schemed to sneak Pumpkin into our doom room (just kidding, Sister Jean!) and then loudly and not-so-secretly parade her throughout the dorm hallways. From Detention and Hummer limos to weddings and babies, our friendship has unwaveringly withstood the tests of time. We've danced many nights away, spilled only one catering-sized salad, and laughed together more times than I can count. I'm so lucky to have you by my side, Wendy, and I can't wait to see what other adventures lie ahead!
Zachariah Davis
Zachariah Davis - Groomsman
Zach and I go way back to high school, and he’s been part of the ride ever since. He didn’t go to IU, but showed up so often he was basically on the roster- a weekend regular, honorary frat member, and fixture on every couch. Over time, he didn’t just become part of the crew; he became family. Holidays, birthdays, backyard barbecues- if something was happening, Zach was there. Loyal, hilarious, and always game for anything, he’s one of the best people I know. This day wouldn’t be complete without him.
Anna Lund
Anna Lund - Bridesmaid
Anna started as my work bestie and quickly became my actual bestie. We survived our single-girl eras together, hula-hooped at Brown Baer (this is a nice bar...‘tisnt it?), took selfies with Skelly, and shared texts that should never leave our phones. She’s always shown up with humor, loyalty, and a robust dance routine. Anna, thank you for your friendship, your honesty and your unmatched ability to make everything more fun...speaking of which, I can't wait to see what unique celebration you bring to our dance floor. Thank you for being alongside me for every adventure- especially the biggest one yet!
Adam Dawson
Adam Dawson - Groomsman
Adam has been part of the family for as long as I can remember- he’s not just Caroline’s boyfriend, but a true friend of mine. Adam is a constant presence, always bringing his easygoing attitude and sharp sense of humor to every gathering. Since I’ve known him, Adam and I have teamed up at family events, trading stories and laughing our way through the chaos. He’s one of the only people I know who’s genuinely convinced that dogs don’t have butt cheeks. And I’ve always joked that if things ever went south with my sister, I’d have a hatchet in the trunk like in Uncle Buck. Luckily, no hatchet was needed, just a lot of laughs and a guy I’m proud to have standing with me.
Kelly Burns
Kelly Burns - Bridesmaid
Good MORNING Lions, may the following students please come see me in the Dean's Office: Kel-e Burns and Kel-c Dolan :( Kelly and I have shared countless bestie adventures since our swoop-bang high school days, like taking selfies under lab tables in homeroom or going snowboarding and coming back to watch a show about a woman and her pitbulls. Even though life temporarily broke us up, the Kels reunited in Chicago, picked up right where we left off- laughing and being silly at every chance we get- and are SO back, baby. Kelly, I'm so grateful to have you be part of our wedding and for your friendship today, yesterday, and always!
Eric Olstad
Eric Olstad - Groomsman
Eric and I met through the fraternity, but our friendship has long outlived the college setting where it started. From the beginning, he’s had a way of showing up without making a big deal of it, just quietly being there, fully present, fully dependable. Over the years, we’ve shared everything from tailgates to weddings, spontaneous nights out to long-overdue catch-ups that always feel effortless. As our lives have changed, so has our friendship, growing to include Kelcie and his girlfriend Molly, who’ve both made the hangouts even better. I’m really glad he’s part of this day and this moment - it wouldn’t feel right without him.
Molly Perlich
Molly Perlich - Bridesmaid
Molly and I met at Soho House when she walked right up, asked to sit next to me, and sparked a conversation like we'd been friends forever. That moment perfectly sums up who Molly is: warm, genuine and spirited. Since then, we’ve had many adventures including our iconic cabin trips, snowmobiling through Wisconsin, and getting flower tattoos at the Tulip Festival. She brings energy and heart to everything we do. Molly, I’m so lucky and excited to have you with me on our special day!
Michael Tenzillo
Michael Tenzillo - Usher
Wah ha ha ha! That’s Mike Tenzillo’s laugh, a playful, unmistakable Wario-style chuckle, complete with a little mustache rub for flair. But beyond the jokes, Mike has a real talent for making people feel comfortable and welcomed wherever he goes. Mike and I go way back and Mike’s wife, Cattie, has known me since elementary school. Having both of them attend our wedding feels like a reminder of those lifelong connections that truly matter. As an usher, Mike will bring that same genuine warmth and easy confidence to the day, helping everyone feel right where they belong.
Alexander Kashian
Alexander Kashian - Usher
Alex may have started as Stephen’s coworker, but he quickly became one of our people. He checks in just to check in, FaceTimes for no reason, and somehow makes third-wheeling feel like a gift. He’s kind, hilarious, and genuinely goes out of his way to show up. We’re both so grateful to have him standing with us as an usher- he’s the kind of person every couple hopes to have in their corner. Alex, we know that you've been so excited for this day that you've been planning your outfit for months...and we can't wait to see if it actually outshines Kelcie's outfit.
Katie DeCarlo
Katie DeCarlo - Flower Girl
Katie is one of our flower girls, and we can already tell she’s going to shine on the big day. As Stephen’s niece and Kelcie’s future niece, she brings so much joy to our lives, and we can’t wait to see her add her special touch to the ceremony.
Eleanor DeCarlo
Eleanor DeCarlo - Flower Girl
Eleanor is one of our flower girls and has such a contagious joy that we know she’ll bring even more happiness to the day. As Stephen’s niece and Kelcie’s future niece, we’re thrilled to have her take part in the celebration, and we can’t wait to watch her light up the room.
Einstein
Einstein - Honorable Mention
It wouldn’t be a true Kelcie & Stephen event without a special shoutout to our best buddy, Einstein. He’s been in Kelcie’s life for the last 10 years, and time and time again, this little guy has proven that he’s pure magic. Einstein has shared laughs during the highs and offered cuddles through the lows- and he has always brought love to every moment. His most recent (and biggest!) role to date was standing proudly in his tuxedo tie as Stephen's best man when the proposal went down. We wish he could celebrate with us in person, but a special nod on the website will have to do. We love you, Einstein!
